Pansy Brooch K Gold Enamel Sterling Silver Violet Antique Victorian Flower Pin. We are currently offering for sale this lovely Antique Victorian rolled yellow gold over solid Sterling Silver Purple Enamel Pansy Brooch with Freshwater Pearl Center. It is a quality piece in good vintage condition with very little wear. The enamel work is vibrant, well done and in good condition. Pearl is in excellent condition, no scruffs, luster intact. Brooch dates to late Victorian Period/ early Art Nouveau person It and is unsigned and unmarked for metal content. Most pins of this type if marked, were marked and signed on the clasp. Current safety clasp is a well done antique / vintage replacement for original.

It is difficult to tell if hinge was replaced. If it was it was very well done.

Pin is hand marked 1922134 on the back on the top petals and bottom. It measures approximately 1 x 1 inches. We have gently cleaned it. It is in excellent vintage condition. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready to wear or gift wrap. It is an estate piece. See photos for full description. Jeweler confirmed metal contents as yellow gold over sterling silver. Quality pieces this in this condition are rare.
