Beautiful & Rare Victorian Wall Frame for Half Plate Photos 1868 Patent

Antique HALF PLATE Thermoplastic Frame. Dark chocolate brown in color.

This empty frame is in excellent overall antique condition with only a couple of few small nicks and dings. No warpage, no repairs, both original rings for the hanging wire are still fitted into the back. Along the bottom edge, back is: "DIATITE Patented Dec 15 1868".
