Antique, Late Victorian, Large, 14ct Gold, Chrysocolla Pendant

This is an exceptional, handcrafted, substantial, Late Victorian, 14ct Yellow Gold and Chrysocolla Gem Pendant. The impressively large gem features gorgeous Cyan colours of blue and green and is set within a stunning gold frame with twist gold wire highlights and very fine gold work to the bevelled inner edge (see photos). The piece does not have hallmarks, which is typical for jewellery of this age, but has been tested as 14ct Gold by my jeweller and with a KEE Gold Tester.

Please note, the gem has a horizontal crack which is barely visible with the naked eye. Nevertheless, this is reflected in the reduced price. Size: Drop - 6.3cm Main pendant - 5.5x2.5x0.7cm Weight - 14.4g.
