Antique 15ct Gold Victorian Target Brooch 5.8g Mourning Pin (Not 18ct)
Please find for sale a rare Antique 15ct Gold Victorian Target Brooch weighing 5.8g. The compartment at the back of the brooch is empty but would have had a photograph or lock of hair belonging to a departed loved one. I cannot open the compartment.
The central flower section rotates but a working jeweller could open it easily. This is a Victorian Mourning brooch or Pin. It measures approximately 30mm across. The pin is in good working order.
This piece is offered in fair antique condition with various signs of age related wear including scuffs and scratches consistent with use. Please inspect the photographs for full detail.
The central petals of the flower are slightly out of shape and lifting away from the brooch. This item requires a clean.
